A group of anarchist activists have seized a villa on Lake Attersee in Austria, which allegedly belongs to the HEAD of VEB.RF, Igor Shuvalov, according to the local newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten.
According to the publication, the house in the village of Burgau was occupied by 30 to 40 people who call themselves members of the "union of free anarchist organizations." They oppose military actions in Ukraine, the "privatization" of the lake and demand the expropriation of Shuvalov's property.
One of the participants in the seizure, according to Salzburger Nachrichten, said that the group did not entrench themselves in the building, but would confront the police, who headed for the villa. “We demand that the house be turned into housing for refugees, deserters and the homeless and that the privatization of the Attersee be stopped,” said another squatter.
RBC sent a request to the VEB press service.
