Rospotrebnadzor for Tatarstan believes thatthat the resumption of the mask regime and the introduction of mandatory COVID vaccination is not necessary

Today, the deputy head of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lyubov Avdonina, said that it is not planned to tighten COVID restrictions due to an increase in the incidence in the region.

“Those strains that are circulating today are different than those that were at the very beginning of the pandemic. Indeed, the disease is milder, the period of pronounced symptoms has also decreased, ”she said at a press conference in Tatar-inform news agency.

According to her, the mask regime in Tatarstan is advisory. “The situation is completely under control. Today, the introduction of any strict restrictive measures is not required, ”she said.

There are no plans to introduce compulsory vaccination in the Republic of Tatarstan either. “All algorithms and preventive measures are known, therefore, no obligations or requirements are put forward today. We hope that our population is responsible for their health and will do everything necessary to protect themselves and their loved ones,” said Avdonina.
