This was reported to RBC by Sergey Mironov, authorized in the field of restaurant business in the capital, following a meeting of business with the Moscow mayor's office.
At the same time, he clarified that the information that appeared in the TELEGRAM channels that it was an initiative of the business community is not true. “There was no business proposal and there was no approval from the city authorities,” the Ombudsman said.
According to him, at the meeting it was discussed that the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor contain a reference to the federal law and allow the dismissal of employees who refuse to be vaccinated without paying salaries, because this is a mandatory requirement. “Business can suspend [employees] from work without pay if people refuse to be vaccinated, this is a requirement of Rospotrebnadzor, in a difficult epidemiological situation, the department has the right to do so. It is interactive, includes fines for businesses - up to 1 million rubles. and the closure of enterprises,” Mironov said.
