People's Artist of RUSSIA, actor and DIRECTOR Boris Nevzorov died at the age of 73 from covid-19 , RBC was told in the press service of the Maly Theater.
Nevzorov was born in 1950 in the Krasnodar Territory. In 1968-1970 he studied at the Moscow Theater School named after M.S. Shchepkin, from where he left of his own free will. In 1975 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School.
He served in the New Drama Theatre, the Mossovet Theatre, the Moscow Drama Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky. Since 2005, he has been an actor at the Maly Theatre. Here he could be seen in the role of Lyapkin-Tyapkin ("The Government Inspector"), Vasily Shuisky ("Dmitry the Pretender and Vasily Shuisky"), Satan ("Don Juan").
The actor has more than 100 roles in film and television: Fedor in the film "Search and Defuse" (1982), Colonel Vasily Orlov in "Moscow Speaks" (1985), General Krylov in "Stalingrad" (1989), HEAD of the Department of Internal Affairs in " Major” (2014) and the head of housing and communal services Fedotov in “Fool” (2013), Ivan Ryabov in “Young Russia” (1981–1982). In the last years of his life, he starred mainly in TV series: for example, he played ex-minister Sergei Gavryutin in The Last Minister.
