The US charity Direct Relief sent 60,000 bottles of CORONAVIRUS medicine worth $20 million to Ukraine, the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in the US reported on FACEBOOK.
“With the assistance of the embassy, a humanitarian cargo was delivered to Ukraine from the United States, provided by the American charitable organization Direct Relief,” the message says. According to the press service of the diplomatic mission, the cargo consists of "innovative drugs Bamlanivimab and Etesevimab" against covid-19 .
“Medicines are recommended for patients with mild to moderate severity of coronavirus disease, especially if there is a risk of transition to a severe form,” the embassy said. The press service also noted that the cargo will be sent to 24 Ukrainian regions.
