The Territorial Administration of the Federal Antimonopoly Service has begun checking the validity of the cost of PCR testing for covid-19 in medical organizations of Bashkiria. This was reported in the department to RBC Ufa. The results of the control measures carried out will be sent to the Federal Antimonopoly Service of RUSSIA.
As RBC reported, at the end of January, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the FAS to check the validity of the cost of PCR tests for CORONAVIRUS in the regions. Control measures are provided for in the government plan for additional measures to combat the new strain of coronavirus "omicron".
In Bashkiria, the cost of PCR studies ranges from 1000 to 1900 rubles. The lowest prices are in some state institutions. For example, in the Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 4 and the Republican Oncological Dispensary, a study will cost 1,000 rubles; in private clinics, the average cost is from 1,200 to 1,400 rubles.
According to the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor for Bashkiria, 32 laboratories conduct PCR studies on COVID-19. Among them are eight federal, 16 regional and eight private.
“The maximum capacity per day is 18 thousand studies. The average number of studies is 16,940. About 6 million studies have been completed since the beginning of the epidemic. Testing coverage on Monday was 422 per 100,000 people,” the press service of Rospotrebnadzor reported.
