Scientists have announced the effectiveness of a bundle of two vaccines against the delta strain

The combination of vaccines from the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca and the Chinese Sinovac allows you to protect yourself from the delta variant of the coronavirus (the so-called "Indian strain"). This conclusion was made by scientists from Thailand, reports Thai PBS.

Researchers from the Thai Red Cross Society and the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology conducted several trials of the combination of vaccine components in different amounts.

Studies have shown that two doses of the Sinovac vaccine followed by an injection of AstraZeneca resulted in antibody production sufficient to resist the delta variant.

it is noted that this sequence of injections is more effective than just two doses of Sinovac, but at the same time, two doses of AstraZeneca provide even stronger protection against a new strain of covid-19 .
