Tyumen restaurants and cafes are recruiting waiters for the summer. Salary up to 60 000 ₽

In the Tyumen region for the last two weeks of April, the demand for waiters has doubled. In total, about 100 such proposals appeared in the region in April. This is reported by the research center hh.ru. Restaurateurs explain this by the seasonality of demand for such vacancies. 

The average salary offered to waiters in the Tyumen region is 33,871 rubles, but you can expect more: 13% of vacancies list wages of 60,000 rubles or more. At the same time, more than 80% of employers do not require experience, in other cases, experience from one to three years is required.

According to Yevgeny Viktorov, DIRECTOR of the Casa Mia and Tsuru restaurants, waiters are required constantly and much more often than cooks.

“The main feature of the work of a waiter is temporality. Very rarely there are those who are ready to work for a long time, for the majority this is a temporary profession. But, of course, in the summer, the demand for catering workers is growing, and especially for waiters. Opportunities are opening up for students who can use the holidays for seasonal earnings,” Evgeny Viktorov told RBC Tyumen.

As Marina Filippova, development director of the restaurant company MaksiM, explained, demand will increase in summer, including in connection with the opening of summer verandas.
