Tourist flow to the Stavropol Territory in the first quarter of 2022 caught up with the "pre-pandemic"

In January-March of this year, 297 thousand people rested in the Stavropol Territory. This is comparable to the level of the same period in 2019, the press service of the governor of the region reports.

In addition, at the moment, about 43 thousand places are booked in Stavropol sanatoriums and hotels. Compared to the spring of 2021, this figure has grown by almost a third.

As RBC Kavkaz reported, more than 1.3 million tourists visited the Stavropol Territory in 2021, which is about twice as many as in 2020.

According to the governor of the region Vladimir Vladimirov, this figure is close to the indicators of the pre-COVID 2019 year.

Recall that the tourist flow to the Stavropol Territory in 2019 amounted to more than 1.6 million people, which is 12.7% more than in 2018.
