Plenipotentiary representative of the President in the Far East Yuri Trutnev said that the efforts made by the governors of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev, Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako and the Jewish Autonomous Region Rostislav Goldstein to organize vaccination against coronavirus were insufficient. His words are reported by the press service of the government.
Trutnev said that the average vaccination rate in Russia is 55.4%, the Far Eastern Federal District even exceeds these figures. However, he continued, vaccination rates in these three regions were below the national average. Thus, in Primorye it is 52.6%, in the Khabarovsk Territory 47.7%, and in the JAO - 50.2%.
“This means that the governors have not made enough efforts to deploy vaccinations and conduct explanatory work among the population,” the plenipotentiary said, stressing that the level of vaccination is under the control of President Vladimir Putin.
Putin described vaccination with the phrase "we are following the path of persuasion, not coercion" Society
At the same time, Trutnev said that in the district, the topics of increasing the incidence of COVID-19 are somewhat reduced - on December 7, the infection was diagnosed in 2,267 new patients. “This is the lowest value in the last three weeks. The mortality rate of the population is decreasing,” the plenipotentiary noted, adding that the workload of the bed fund is still high and equal to 80%.
