Requirements for COVID-19 in the Kuban will not affect tourists who have already settled in

The requirement to have a negative PCR test for tourists when checking into hotels and sanatoriums of Kuban resorts from July 1 will not apply to tourists who are already living and will continue their vacation after this date. This, according to TASS, was announced by the Acting Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory Maria Zolotukhina.

“The requirements apply to the settlement of tourists, that is, those tourists who are already settled before July 1 complete their vacation according to the vouchers,” Zolotukhina said.

Earlier, the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory obliged tourists who check into local hotels, inns and boarding houses to prove their safety to others. From July 1, for this, it will be necessary to provide a negative result of a PCR test for COVID-19, and from August 1, a certificate of vaccination. Only those for whom the COVID-19 vaccine is contraindicated by the decision of the doctors will be exempted from this requirement.

Children's camps will not require vaccination from minors. However, to check in children in hotels and sanatoriums, a PCR test will be required.

Over the past day in the Krasnodar Territory, according to the regional operational headquarters, 123 cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Krasnodar Territory, more than 50 thousand people have become infected with COVID-19, 3313 people have died, 17 of them have died over the past day.
