“We are not fulfilling the plan for the end of January on herd immunity. The slowdown was seen at the end of December and holidays. Now the pace is quite good - more than 10 thousand people reach it a day. If these rates of vaccination are maintained, then by February we will reach the fulfillment of the plan,” Travnikov said.
As of January 22, 1.473 million people in the region completed the full course of vaccination. And the number of residents of the region subject to revaccination, according to RBC Novosibirsk, is at least 433.9 thousand people who had already been vaccinated with two components as of July 22 last year.
As RBC reported, according to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, the leaders in herd immunity in RUSSIA are Sevastopol (90.5%), St. Petersburg (84.6%), Karelia (83%) and Chukotka (80.6%) . As of January 21, the level of herd immunity in Russia is 64.4%.
