The number of residents of the Novosibirsk region vaccinated against covid-19 has reached 15 thousand per day. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of HEALTH of the region Elena Aksenova during a live broadcast of the NGS portal.
“15-18 thousand vaccinated daily is a good pace,” Aksenova noted.
Also in the Novosibirsk region, revaccination procedures will begin for those who have had CORONAVIRUS or were vaccinated more than six months ago.
According to Aksenova, at the moment the main task for the region is to achieve herd immunity by September this year. Currently, more than 320,000 people have received both components of the vaccine.
The only unresolved issue is the shortage of vaccine components due to the increase in the number of vaccinated in the region. As Aksenova noted, in general, the authorities manage to achieve timely supplies of drugs for coronavirus.
According to the operational headquarters, as of the morning of June 30, 46.8 thousand cases of coronavirus were registered in the region, including 3.1 thousand children. 41.6 thousand patients recovered (+108 per day).
4.6 thousand patients, including 101 children, were hospitalized in the region's infectious diseases hospitals with a diagnosis of COVID-19 and with suspicion of it.
