Daily incidence of COVID-19 in Tatarstan sets a new record

In total, as of October 18, 28,716 cases of the disease were registered in Tatarstan. Over the entire period, 24,158 people recovered, including 33 over the past day.

According to the headquarters, out of 129 new cases, five are imported, the rest are contact cases. 23 people have been hospitalized, 106 are being treated at home.

In Kazan, 62 cases were confirmed per day, in Naberezhnye Chelny - 28, five each in Zelenodolsk and Nizhnekamsk districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, four in Almetyevsk, three each in Aznakaevsky, Aksubaevsky, Buinsky, Zainsky, Tukaevsky, two each in Bugulminsky and Drozhzhanovsky , one each - in Apastovsky, Kukmorsky, Mamadyshsky, Nurlatsky, Pestrechinsky and Sarmanovsky districts.

The day before, 121 cases of the disease were confirmed in Tatarstan, which is also the highest since the beginning of the epidemic. 

In total, 1,258,446 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan (an increase of 33,230), of which 987,370 received a second vaccination.
