In Bashkiria, 852 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection were registered per day, the day before, the diagnosis was confirmed in 710 people. These are the highest daily incidence rates since the start of the pandemic. Previous highs were recorded during the fourth wave of covid-19 , in October-November 2021, when about 670 cases were detected in the region daily.

The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic in the republic has amounted to 131,114. In total, 120,750 people have recovered from COVID-19, 489 of them have been discharged with recovery over the past day. The region recorded 4,739 deaths, 13 people died from coronavirus the day before.

In Bashkiria, vaccination against COVID-19 continues. The first stage was passed by 2.35 million people, both components of the drug were administered to 2.2 million people. On January 26, vaccination of adolescents from 12 to 17 years old began in the republic. According to the Ministry of HEALTH, as of January 30, 452 schoolchildren received the first component of the Sputnik M vaccine.

As RBC Ufa reported, due to an increase in the incidence, polyclinics in Bashkiria will work according to a new schedule from Monday, January 31: from 7:30 to 22:00 seven days a week. The Ministry of Health notes that patients infected with a new strain of the Omicron virus, as a rule, do not need hospitalization, since they carry the disease easily or in a latent form. At the same time, the outpatient link of medical care is experiencing increased stress.

Bashkiria will receive 185 million rubles from the country's reserve fund to support polyclinics amid the spread of the omicron strain of coronavirus. In total, more than 7.3 billion rubles were allocated to the subjects for these purposes.
