Navigation through the new Bagaevsky hydroelectric complex will begin in 2025. This was told by the first deputy governor of the Rostov region Viktor Goncharov.
According to him, the deadline for completion of work at the facility is scheduled for 2024.

Earlier, the deadlines for the delivery of the Bagaevsky hub were postponed several times. The last time in 2020, the authorities intended to finish construction in 2023.

Recall that the Bagaevsky low-pressure hydroelectric complex was planned to be built in the area of ​​x. Arpachin, Rostov region. As part of the project, it was planned to build a hydroelectric complex as part of a shipping lock, fish passage facilities, a dam, engineering structures from flooding and flooding of territories. The total cost of building a hydroelectric complex today is 22 billion rubles.

Land plots with a total area of ​​1.3 thousand hectares fall into the construction zone of the Bagaevsky low-pressure hydroelectric complex, as well as into the zone of subsequent flooding. 472 plots with a total area of ​​487 hectares were supposed to be seized from the owners.

The designer of the hydroelectric complex is JSC "Akvatik" (Moscow). The cost of design work was estimated at 552.2 million rubles.
