The construction and reconstruction of a section of the M-7 Volga highway in Bashkiria was estimated at 60.14 billion rubles, follows from the order of the Russian government on the allocation of funds from the country's budget as part of the Development of the Federal Trunk Network project in 2022–2024. During this period, the republic will receive 1.2 billion rubles for the construction of a section of the route. In 2025, the amount of funds for the region in the amount of 58.9 billion rubles has been reserved.
The 62-kilometer section of the route will run from Dyurtyuli to the border with Tatarstan, bypassing the settlements of Isametovo, Verneyarkeevo, Layashty, Ishkarovo and Asyanovo. The road will become part of the Kazan-Yekaterinburg high-speed transport route.
In total, by order of the government, 163 billion rubles were distributed as part of the federal project for 2022–2024. These funds will be used to renovate and build 757 km of federal and 292 km of regional roads.
“Quality road infrastructure is needed for economic development in all regions of the country. Financing will allow, first of all, to accelerate the implementation of large infrastructure projects that will also support related industries, and after the completion of construction, the transport connectivity of the regions will improve,” said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, announcing the allocation of additional funds for road construction at a government meeting on March 9.
