
In the North Caucasus in November 2021, 2,665 people with CORONAVIRUS infection died. This is 7.3 times more than in the same period of 2020 (366 people), according to the materials of Rosstat.
In November last year, 2,352 residents of the North Caucasus were diagnosed with coronavirus. The remaining 313 people may have had an infection, but it could not be identified.
In particular, in November 2021, 1225 people with covid died in the Stavropol Territory (in November 2020 - 139 people); in Dagestan - 347 people (in November 2020 - 96), in North Ossetia - 337 people who died with coronavirus in November 2021 (in November 2020 - 14), in Chechnya - 207 people (26 people), in Karachay-Cherkessia - 202 (9), in Kabardino-Balkaria - 263 (73), in Ingushetia - 84 (9).
Most of the deaths with an established diagnosis were recorded in Moscow (6563 people), Moscow (4334) and Sverdlovsk (3297) regions. The lowest mortality is in the Chukotka and Nenets Autonomous Okrugs (7 and 14 cases, respectively) and the Magadan Region (37).
As RBC Kavkaz reported, 2,203 people with coronavirus infection died in the North Caucasus Federal District in October 2021, which is 6.2 times more than in the same period of 2020.
