
The vast majority of patients who died from CORONAVIRUS in RUSSIA have not been revaccinated, Vladimir Chulanov, chief freelance specialist in infectious diseases at the Ministry of HEALTH, told RIA Novosti.
“An analysis of the case histories of patients with covid-19 in Russia showed that the vast majority of those who died were not revaccinated in a timely manner,” Chulanov said, noting that more than eight months have passed since the last vaccination for those who died due to the disease.

Chulanov noted that patients who were revaccinated against COVID-19 less than six months ago did not die from coronavirus. He stressed that Russian vaccines remain effective against the Omicron strain, Cerberus (BQ1.1) and Kraken (XBB1.5). Speaking about the importance of timely vaccination, Chulanov said that the average age of people who died from covid is 76 years.
