The authorities of the Magadan region have decided to introduce mandatory vaccination against CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 . The corresponding decree, which is published on the website of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, was signed by the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the region Svetlana Korsunskaya.

The document states that workers in the areas of healthcare, education, social security, services, transport, trade and catering should be vaccinated. In addition, employees of cultural institutions, children's centers, camps, crews of fishing vessels, employees of coastal fish processing enterprises and civil servants must be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The resolution notes that at least 60% of employees of the above areas and enterprises must undergo mandatory vaccination. They must receive the first component by August 20, the second - by September 15. Those residents of the region who have contraindications to vaccination will be exempted from mandatory vaccination.

The Magadan region became the fortieth Russian region where mandatory vaccination against coronavirus was announced. As noted in the resolution, over the past seven weeks, an increase in the incidence of coronavirus has been observed in the region, ranging from 15 to 59% in different weeks.
