The White House confirmed to the Associated Press information about the infected assistant to the HEAD of state. According to them, the coronavirus patient did not have close contacts with the president. The administration also noted that on November 2, Biden passed a negative test for coronavirus.

Earlier, on November 1, it became known that US White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection. The press secretary herself clarified that she had taken negative PCR tests for coronavirus from October 27 to October 30, but on October 31 the test showed a positive result.
