In June 2021, 27,118 people died in Russia who had coronavirus at the time of death, almost 43% more than in May 2021 (about 19 thousand, according to updated data), Rosstat reported. The total death rate in June in the country increased by 14.1% compared to the same month last year and amounted to 185,655 people, Rosstat data show.
