People's Artist of the RSFSR Zinaida Kiriyenko was hospitalized with CORONAVIRUS, her son Maxim told RBC.

“She didn’t feel well, and we called an ambulance,” he said, adding that the 88-year-old actress was diagnosed with the omicron strain.

Zinaida Kiriyenko was born on July 9, 1933. In 1958 she graduated from VGIK, after which she played at the Theater. A. S. Pushkin and at the Moscow Drama Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, and in 1961 she moved to the Film Actor Theater Studio.

Among the works of Zinaida Kiriyenko are the roles of Natalya Melekhova in the film Quiet Flows the Don by Sergei Gerasimov, Irina in Sergei Bondarchuk's film The Fate of a Man, Sanya Grigoriev's mother in Yevgeny Karelov's Two Captains and Maryana in the film The Cossacks by Vasily Pronin.
