The authorities of six Russian regions on Tuesday introduced quarantine restrictions in connection with the spread of the CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 . The tightening of anti-COVID measures took place in the Khabarovsk Territory, in the republics of Buryatia and Mari El, in the Murmansk and Vologda regions, as well as in the Moscow region.

In the Khabarovsk Territory , employers were advised to transfer people over 65 and pregnant women to remote work. Also, residents will be able to fly to the northern regions of the region only if they have a certificate of a negative result of the PCR test for the presence of COVID-19, the press service of the regional government reported.

In Buryatia , parks, squares and public areas are closed until July 1, the work of all institutions of additional education, including sports clubs, is transferred to a remote mode, and swimming pools, massage and spa salons, solariums and thermal springs stop working. Rehearsals in creative teams and sports in sports and recreation centers and fitness clubs are also suspended. Exceptions are made for members of the national teams of the republic, who cannot interrupt the training process. In addition, residents over the age of 65 will be required to self-isolate. They also suspended the work of public catering and preschool institutions in the Zakamensky and Ivolginsky districts, where outbreaks of COVID-19 are observed.
