Six foreigners leave Polymetal's board of directors

Foreigners have already left senior positions in Sberbank, Russian Railways, LUKOIL,MegaFone and other companies

Six foreign members will leave the board of directors of the Russian mining company Polymetal, according to its message on the website of the London Stock Exchange.

Ian Cockrill, Ollie Oliveira, Tracey Kerr, Italia Boninelli, Victor Flores and Andrea Abt are stepping down from the Board of Directors.

According to Polymetal's official website as of March 7, the board of directors includes Vitaly Nesis (CEO), Giacomo Baizini (non-executive independent DIRECTOR) and Konstantin Yanakov (non-executive director).

Polymetal was founded in 1998 in Saint Petersburg . it is engaged in the extraction of precious metals, has assets in RUSSIA and Kazakhstan, owns nine operating deposits of gold and silver. In 2020, it produced over 1.5 million ounces of gold.
