The Saudi authorities will allow those who have completed a full course of vaccination against coronavirus to visit the country on tourist visas from August 1, the Kingdom's Ministry of Tourism announced on Twitter.

“From August 1, the restriction on entry into the kingdom for holders of tourist visas who have been vaccinated is lifted. They will not need to undergo mandatory quarantine, ”the message says.

They clarified that vaccination will be taken into account only with drugs approved in the country, and 72 hours before arrival in Saudi Arabia, tourists also need to undergo PCR testing for COVID-19 .

To date, the country's authorities have approved four drugs against coronavirus, namely vaccines manufactured by Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and BioNTech.
