The website of the Pskovskaya Guberniya newspaper has been blocked. This is stated in the TELEGRAM channel of the publication.

On Saturday, March 5, the police came to the newspaper's office with an "inspection". Phones and computers were confiscated from newspaper employees. According to the editorial office, the inspection took place as part of an administrative case after receiving an anonymous message that the editorial office called for a rally against the military special operation of Russian troops in Ukraine.

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also came to the office of the Pskov branch of the Yabloko party. This was announced in his Telegram by the chairman of the department, Lev Shlosberg, who was the publisher of the Pskov province until 2015, and until 2013 was the editor-in-chief of the newspaper. According to him, the “examination” was carried out as part of an administrative case under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (public actions aimed at “discrediting the use of the Armed Forces”).
