Rospotrebnadzor of the Russian Federation published information on the income of the general DIRECTOR of the Novosibirsk center of virology and biotechnology "Vector" Rinat Maksyutov and his deputies.

Last year, Maksyutov's monthly salary was 1.24 million rubles. Among his deputies, Elena Gavrilova had the highest monthly income - 784.95 thousand rubles. Next come Alexander Agafonov (414.23 thousand rubles), Elena Nechaeva (335.76 thousand rubles), Irina Gavryutenko (320.96 thousand rubles) and Konstantin Volkovsky (244.21 thousand rubles)

In 2020, scientists at the Vector Center created the EpiVacCorona CORONAVIRUS vaccine. She became the second Russian drug for covid-19 . Mass production of the vaccine began in March of this year. it was planned to produce up to 5 million doses per month.

In January 2020, SSC VB Vector received the status of a WHO reference laboratory for COVID-19 - one of 26 in the world and the only one in RUSSIA.
