Among all those infected with CORONAVIRUS in RUSSIA, only 2% completed the full course of vaccination, Alla Samoilova, HEAD of Roszdravnadzor, said at a press conference, TASS reports.
“Yes, we do not hide the fact that there are people who got sick after vaccination,” she said, stressing, however, that the authorities take into account such infected people only if the virus was detected in them after the 42nd day from the moment of the first vaccination.
The fact is, Samoilova clarified, that this is “the period when immunity has already been formed” and “when, in theory, the patient should not get sick anymore.”
Among those hospitalized with coronavirus, unvaccinated patients, according to her, make up 90%. Earlier, on September 7, the head of the Russian Ministry of HEALTH, Mikhail Murashko, also cited similar statistics. “More than 92% of patients admitted to covid hospitals are unvaccinated patients,” he noted.
In this regard, the head of the department emphasized, the covid-19 vaccine significantly reduces the risk of being in the hospital and practically reduces the possibility of being in intensive care to zero.
