
In November 2021, 2,259 people with a confirmed CORONAVIRUS infection died in the Krasnodar Territory, according to Rosstat data. This is 12.7 times more than in the same period of 2020.
At the same time, the virus was identified in 2035 people, the remaining 224 people may have had a coronavirus, but it could not be identified. In 31 cases, coronavirus was not the main cause of death, but had a significant impact on the development of fatal complications of the disease.
In November 2021, the Krasnodar Territory ranked second in the Southern Federal District and 9th in RUSSIA in terms of mortality with coronavirus infection. Most of the deaths with an established diagnosis were recorded in Moscow (6563 people), Moscow (4334), Sverdlovsk (3297), Rostov (2772) and Chelyabinsk regions (2684).
The lowest mortality rate is in the Chukotka and Nenets Autonomous Okrugs (7 and 14 cases), Magadan Region (37), Tyva (38) and Kamchatka Territory (46).
As RBC Krasnodar reported, in October 2021, 1,688 people with a confirmed coronavirus infection died in the Krasnodar Territory.
