Despite the popularity of open office spaces, the majority of Russians working in offices prefer the cabinet system. Moreover, with age, the tendency to closed spaces increases.
Among office workers in RUSSIA, there are 3.5 times fewer fans of open space; most Russians like the office system. This conclusion was reached as a result of a study (RBC has it) experts from the SuperJob service.
Of the employees surveyed who spend their day in the office, 45% said they perform their duties more effectively in offices or similar enclosed spaces. At the same time, 13% answered that it is more convenient for them to work in open spaces. Another 26% admitted that they do not see the difference and do not believe that the type of workspace affects productivity and mood.
Men more often prefer open space than women - 15% versus 11%. Young people under 24 most often do not care what office they work in - 44% of respondents chose this answer from this category. However, with age, preferences gravitate more toward offices: 54% of office workers over 45 would prefer to work that way.
Compared to the previous survey in 2016, the popularity of open space has dropped from 16% then to 13% now. However, from 59% to 45%, the proportion of adherents of the cabinet system also fell.
