
The government has set new export quotas for Russian producers of mineral fertilizers. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the website of the Cabinet.
“The current export quotas for Russian producers of mineral fertilizers have been temporarily increased by almost 700 thousand tons <...>. The decision will be valid until May 31, 2022 inclusive.
Thus, about 5.7 million tons of nitrogen fertilizers were allowed to be exported. The export quota for complex fertilizers will be about 5.6 million tons. - no more than 5.35 million tons. Restrictions are valid from December 1 to May 31, 2022 inclusive. They do not apply to the supply of fertilizers to the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as to Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
