Rospotrebnadzor has developed a drug in the form of a spray, which contains antibodies to various respiratory diseases. This was stated by a researcher MNIIEM them. G.N. Gabrichevsky Rospotrebnadzor Vladimir Aleshkin, Izvestia reports.

“With an increased number of people infected with CORONAVIRUS per day, this is the situation that is observed now – a person in the morning, before entering the subway, injects antibodies into his nose,” Aleshkin said.

The active substance covers the mucosa and acts for 10 hours, explains an employee of Rospotrebnadzor. According to him, in the future, it is possible to create a similar protection against coronavirus.

Aleshkin added that now the drug is effective against influenza, herpesviruses, mycoplasmas, Staphylococcus aureus, pertussis and diphtheria pathogens. The drug is based on donated blood. At the same time, there are no viruses and microorganisms in it.

In April, the Institute of Immunology, which is part of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, announced that it had received a patent for a preventive drug for coronavirus in the form of a nasal spray. The developers explained that the drug "turns off" the copying of the virus without affecting the human genome and immunity.
