In the Kaliningrad region on September 27, covid-19 was detected in 331 people, 440 residents recovered, one died, 17 Kaliningraders were hospitalized. This is reported by the information center for monitoring the situation with the infection.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in the region, 185,817 people have been infected with CORONAVIRUS, 180,482 patients have recovered, 1966 have died. The herd immunity level is 10.2%.
According to Rospotrebnadzor, 2,742 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the region last week, which is 16.9% more than the previous week.
Experts note that in most cases - 94.9% - the disease took the form of ARI, 0.2% - in the form of pneumonia, 4.9% - were detected without symptoms.
The number of cases among the adult population increased by 23.3%, an increase was noted in all age groups over 18 years old. Kaliningraders aged 50 to 64 were the most vulnerable (by 33.4%). At the same time, the growth rate in the number of cases decreased from 32.2% to 23.3%.
359 cases of coronavirus infection were registered last week in residents under the age of 18. The indicator decreased by 12.9%, the previous week it amounted to 412 cases. Children from 7 to 14 years old fell ill much less frequently, by 31.6%. Babies under six years old accounted for 44%.
As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, the regional Rospotrebnadzor strongly recommends that people wear masks in transport, public places, and enclosed spaces. This is especially true for the elderly and people with chronic diseases.
