it will be possible to get into the COVID-19- free zones, which are planned to be created in the Sverdlovsk region, with a QR code, the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor reported.

“Access to these zones will be possible for citizens who are immune to a new CORONAVIRUS infection: either after vaccination or after suffering covid-19 in the last six months. At the entrance to an institution or an event, a visitor must present a certificate with a QR code posted on the single portal "Gosuslugi" <...> It should be noted that the negative results of PCR tests (in the absence of information about vaccination or a recent illness) are not grounds to visit such zones,” the message says.

The department noted that the government of the region is also considering the introduction of restrictive measures to visit catering establishments, museums, concert and exhibition halls, sanatoriums, recreation centers, swimming pools, gyms and other organizations with mass visits of people.

Sverdlovsk Governor explained the introduction of mandatory vaccination Society

Earlier, the Sverdlovsk Rospotrebnadzor issued a decree on mandatory vaccination of certain categories of citizens. According to him, from October 5, workers in the field of education, trade, catering, cultural and leisure institutions, sports organizations, public transport, taxis, hotel and personal services will be required to be vaccinated against the coronavirus. This list also includes civil servants and officials. Citizens from these categories must be vaccinated with the first component by November 1, and the second by December 1.

The governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, said that mandatory vaccination of certain categories of citizens would help avoid the introduction of a lockdown in the region. “This decision was very difficult, but, according to experts, now it’s either vaccination or, otherwise, a lockdown,” the governor said. He also said that in the Sverdlovsk region there will be zones free from coronavirus - theaters, restaurants, sports grounds and other places - only those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have antibodies will be allowed there.
