“No, such medical “preparation” is not needed. Moreover, it will only hurt. As a recent study showed, taking antihistamines can negatively affect the immune response after vaccination, ”the agency explained.

At the same time, if allergy medications are prescribed by a doctor, it is not necessary to interrupt their regular intake due to vaccination.

As indicated by the Ministry of Health, a history of severe allergic reactions is a contraindication to the use of the vaccine. The vaccine should also not be given to those who have hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine or medicine containing similar components.
