The WHO assessed the need to wear gloves in public places Society

In Moscow, the mandatory wearing of gloves in public places was introduced in May 2020. The requirement was in effect in some other regions of RUSSIA, but was gradually softened. In the fall of 2020, the city authorities tightened control over the wearing of personal protective equipment and announced that carriers would not let passengers without gloves into transport. Muscovites were also repeatedly fined for their absence. The wearing of gloves ceased to be mandatory only at the end of July 2021.
