Rospotrebnadzor allowed the production of the vaccine from "Vector" abroad

The Vector State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology of Rospotrebnadzor is ready to transfer the production technology of the new EpiVacCorona-N vaccine developed by it abroad. This was reported to Rossiyskaya Gazeta by Rospotrebnadzor.
“We are ready to transfer the technology for the production of a new vaccine not only to potential industrial partners in RUSSIA, but also to foreign colleagues,” the ministry said.
According to the newspaper, the new vaccine will be produced in Russia by Vector-bialgam and Geropharm. Moreover, Vector has its own production site.

At the end of March, industrial production of the Russian covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V was launched in Belarus. Prior to this, the Russian Direct Investment Fund agreed with Indian manufacturers on the production of this vaccine in India in the amount of more than 100 million doses per year. In April, a similar agreement was also concluded with a manufacturer from CHINA .
EpiVacCorona is the second Russian CORONAVIRUS vaccine, it was registered last fall. As Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova explained, unlike Sputnik V, the drug of the Vector center is a peptide, it is made from three components of the coronavirus genome, which are most resistant to mutation. According to Rospotrebnadzor, the results of two phases of clinical trials showed that the effectiveness of the vaccine was 100%.
In total, four vaccines against coronavirus have been registered in Russia today - Sputnik V and Sputnik Light, developed by the Center. Gamaleya, "EpiVakKorona" from the Novosibirsk center "Vector" and the vaccine "KoviVak", developed by the Center. M.P. Chumakov.
