Rospotrebnadzor clarified the isolation period for contacts with COVID

Those who have already received orders for mandatory self-isolation due to contact with an infected coronavirus must remain on it for the period specified in the document, despite the new decision of Rospotrebnadzor, RBC was told in the press service of the department.

“Those who have already received a decision to observe self-isolation should stay on it for as long as indicated in the document they received,” the press service said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the decision to reduce the period of isolation for those who had contact with patients with COVID-19 from 14 to seven days came into force.

On January 18, Deputy Prime Minister, head of the operational headquarters Tatyana Golikova spoke about the reduction in the terms of self-isolation. She explained that the country has optimized approaches to laboratory research and quarantine, following the example of other countries.
