
The Federal Air Transport Agency has expanded the list of cities from which flights to Turkey will now be operated, according to a message received by RBC from the department. Since June 22, flights to Turkey have been operated from 32 cities, now 13 more will be added to them.
From July 12, it will also be possible to fly to resorts from Barnaul, Belgorod, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Lipetsk, Nalchik, Orenburg, Saratov, Sochi, Tyumen and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. In Turkey, flights from RUSSIA will be accepted by Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum and Izmir.

For those vaccinated with Russian vaccines, free entry is open to the country. The Turkish Embassy has already reported that they recognize the vaccination of any of the vaccines registered in Russia. However, a certificate of full vaccination will be required, from the moment it is completed until arrival in Turkey, at least 14 days must pass. Those who have recovered from covid-19 will need a certificate of illness and cure issued within the last six months, as well as a certificate with negative antigen test results.

In mid-April, due to a sharp increase in the number of cases of coronavirus in Turkey, Russia limited air traffic, leaving only two weekly regular flights between Moscow and Istanbul, which were operated by Aeroflot and Turkish Airlines. Initially, the restrictions were in effect until June 1, but on May 31 they were extended for another three weeks, until June 21, 2021.
