“The age of the patients is from 28 to 37 years. Three of them were somatically healthy, one was obese, the other was obese and diabetic. Two children were born alive, one of them is premature, and in three cases intrauterine fetal death occurred, ”the information center of the regional government said.

Doctors noted the same aggressive course of the course of the disease: the condition of the patients worsened sharply, some were transferred to the intensive care unit on the first day of admission to the monohospital.

“Given the modern realities of life, including the epidemiological situation, it is advisable to plan pregnancy in advance. And in preparation for it, in addition to routine examinations, it is recommended to be vaccinated against coronavirus two months before the expected onset of pregnancy. If a pregnant woman has confirmed the diagnosis of covid-19 , this is an indication for her hospitalization and treatment. Unvaccinated pregnant women are the hardest hit by COVID-19. Often, doctors are forced to induce labor early in order to save the mother's life, and the HEALTH problems that occur in newborns are associated with prematurity, and not with the disease, ”said the physician.
