Putin reports 21.5 million people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Russia

More than 21 million people have been successfully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about this, the Rossiya 24 TV channel reports, broadcast was conducted on YouTube.

“21.5 million people have already been vaccinated. The results are very good across the country,” the president said. He did not specify whether he was talking about those who received two vaccinations, or those who received only one injection.

Vladimir Putin urged people to "waste no time to get vaccinated" and to see a DOCTOR at the first symptoms of the disease.

On April 23, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced that more than 11.1 million people had received the first component of the CORONAVIRUS vaccine in Russia. According to her, 6.8 million Russians had received both vaccinations by that time.
