Moscow will supply Minsk with the most modern models of military equipment, President Vladimir Putin agreed with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko during negotiations in the Russian capital, Natalya Eismont, press secretary of the President of Belarus, told the BelTA state agency.

“In turn, Belarus will increase the supply of modern agricultural, passenger equipment and other engineering products,” she added.

Eismont did not specify the timing of the delivery of military equipment, but noted that this would happen "in the near future." According to her, the development of the military-industrial complex of the Union State of the two countries was given much attention during the conversation between Putin and Lukashenko.

The presidents of Russia and Belarus also discussed building cooperation in the face of “hard pressure from the West and a hybrid war” being waged against Moscow and Minsk, the press secretary of the Belarusian president continued. “Russia has taken the most serious and unprecedented steps to support the economy of our country,” Eismont conveyed Lukashenka’s words after the talks.
