The Prime Minister of Armenia described the situation as tense

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation during which they discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, according to the website of the Armenian government.

“During the conversation, the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, which has developed in the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers as a result of the advance of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, was discussed. Prime Minister Pashinyan described the situation as tense.

In addition, Pashinyan "emphasized the need for Russian peacekeepers to demand that the Azerbaijani armed forces return to their original positions."

Both leaders agreed to make efforts to resolve the "crisis situation" in the region, the press service said.
