Other countries are "slowing down the registration" of Russian vaccines, dividing the pandemic "into their own and someone else's", it is difficult to understand, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with government members, RIA Novosti reports.
The HEAD of state expressed hope that joint work with other countries in the fight against coronavirus could be organized. “Because fighting separately is pointless,” Putin said.
At the same time, he said that for the most part people understand that they need to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, but vaccination cannot be imposed. “It is extremely important to convince people of the need to get vaccinated, that this is the only way we can put up a barrier, and at the same time explain in detail, in a qualified manner, the complex questions that citizens have about vaccination,” the president added.
According to him, the rate of vaccination against covid-19 in RUSSIA needs to be increased. Putin believes that the summer of 2021 has become another test for the country in the fight against coronavirus infection. “It’s not easy, as we can see. It is clear that people are tired,” he said.
