According to the HEAD of the republic, there are many requests from potential volunteers, but the DPR can cope with its role in the military operation without their participation, with the support of RUSSIA

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the republic can cope with the "liberation" of its territory on its own with the support of the Russian army, without attracting volunteers. This is stated in the message of the People's Militia of the DPR, received by RBC.

Pushilin noted that the DPR receives a "large number" of requests from volunteers and systematizes them. “But at the moment we have every opportunity on our own, with the fire support of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, to cope with moving forward to liberate the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” he added.

Last week, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin about the "huge number" of volunteers who would like to come to the DPR and LPR in order to participate in the "liberation movement." According to the minister, most of the applications - over 16 thousand at that time - came from the countries of the Middle East.

In response, Putin said that those who wish to help the residents of Donbass on a voluntary basis, “not for money”, should be helped to move to the war zone.
