Radiy Khabirov meets with Botirjon Asadov
A direct flight between the capitals of Bashkiria and Uzbekistan may appear in 2022. This was announced at a meeting between the HEAD of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to RUSSIA, Botirjon Asadov. Air communication between Ufa and Tashkent can be established in agreement with the Federal Air Transport Agency, the press service of the head of the Republic of Belarus reported.
Radiy Khabirov and Botirjon Asadov discussed cooperation between the republics in the economic, social and cultural spheres. The parties noted bilateral assistance during the CORONAVIRUS pandemic.
“We are grateful that in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, your enterprises supplied raw materials for the production of gauze masks to Bashkortostan. This is how it should be in hard times. Our common task is to develop and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation,” Khabirov said.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan recalled that 30 doctors from Bashkiria helped their Uzbek colleagues treat patients with covid-19 .
“Your business spirit creates an additional incentive for further building up trade and economic ties between our republics. There are all prerequisites for this. The day before, I visited the Ufa State Oil Technical University, where we outlined plans to develop cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere,” Asadov said.
