About 150 people tried to disrupt the speech of German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany, Zeit reports, citing police.
During a speech in Ahrensburg to an audience of 1,000 people, Burbock spoke out in support of the supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine. After that, the protesters tried to disrupt the minister's speech by turning on the sirens, as well as shouting the words "warmonger" and "liar", writes Zeit.
Another event involving Burbock was canceled for security reasons, police said.

Since the beginning of Russia's military operation in Ukraine, many countries, including Germany, have revised their positions regarding the supply of lethal weapons to Kyiv. Later, the German DPA agency, citing sources, reported that Germany had transferred to Ukraine 1,500 Strela portable anti-aircraft missile systems, 100 MG3 machine guns, and 8 million cartridges for firearms. it also became known about Berlin's intention to supply Kyiv with 2,000 Panzerfaust anti-tank missiles.
Nevertheless, already on April 19, Scholz announced that the Bundeswehr had exhausted the limit on the supply of weapons to Ukraine from its reserves. At the same time, on April 28, the Bundestag supported by a majority vote a document calling on the government to supply heavy weapons to Ukraine. Burbock also made a call to supply additional weapons to Kyiv more than once.

The Russian authorities have repeatedly criticized Western countries for "pumping" Ukraine with weapons and did not rule out that convoys with weapons could become targets for Russian attacks.
