
During the debate in the Gagarinsky COURT of Moscow, the state prosecution asked to sentence the HEAD of the department of international relations and diplomacy of the Moscow University for the Humanities and the leader of the movement "For New Socialism" Nikolai Platoshkin to six years in prison in the case of inciting mass riots. In addition to imprisonment, the prosecutor asked to recover a fine of 500 thousand rubles from the communist. The announcement of the verdict in this case is scheduled for 13:00 Moscow time on May 19.

The criminal case against Platoshkin was initiated by the Investigative Committee in June last year.
