In Russia, a new surge in the incidence of coronavirus may begin in the fall, Denis Protsenko, head physician of infectious diseases hospital No. 40 in Kommunarka, told URA.ru. He warned that in late September - early October, three factors will collide at once: seasonal flu, COVID-19  and returning from vacation.

“All this can create the prerequisites for an outbreak and a severe course of the disease,” Protsenko said.

People will have to learn to live with the coronavirus, as happened, for example, with the flu or other diseases. “The only way is prevention and vaccination. In autumn, much will depend on the position of citizens. If it is passive, then it is obvious that we will again have work and deploy additional beds, ”said the physician.
